I bought this placed to interchange a Mistu 65 inch DLP because it was non-3D. This television has a crown pass picture, excellent 3D capability, and a marvellous price.

The upside of DLP is an excellent picture, relatively slim size for a rear projection, and a lightweight design. (the 73 in placed1 weighs less than my 2 40 in plasmas) The downside is that it requires a projecter lamp modify when the bulb wears out at a price of about $100. My late placed8 was four years old and I never had to interchange0 the lamp. They finally from 3000 to 10,000 hours of use.

After the firmware update on these televisions (they will either arrived that style new from the factory or can exist updated by pluggin an internet cable into the back of the set) they can exist used with DLP Link manner glasses and requires no emittor.

My solely issue is that for some reason, with the settings on “DLP Link” the television will not send out the 3D signal at each use. Every time you bicycle the TV WD-73738 choke and then conk back and want to use the 3D mode, I receive to shout up the menu, de-select “DLP LINK” and select “Emittor”, then switch back to “DLP Link” again to cause it to output the signal. I think that is a software issue that I hope will be corrected at the future update.
